Business Development Intern

We are seeking proactive Business Development Interns to join our team. These interns will be members of our US Funding team in Madrid. In this role, you will focus on identifying and qualifying opportunities for US federal funding grants and building strategic partnerships. Possible to become a Full Time Employee upon completion of the 6 month internship.

About the Job

Responsibilities

Research and identify relevant funding opportunities across various US programs (SBIR, STTR) ensuring alignment with Futuro Perfecto’s goals and priorities.
Attend key industry events, representing Futuro Perfecto, and become very familiar with the US federal funding program landscape, including being able to communicate and describe these programs.
Staying updated on funding programs and collaboration possibilities.
Establish strong relationships with key US stakeholders, including organizations like the DOE, DoD, NASA, NSF, NIH, USDA etc. and other relevant representatives.

Desired Background

Able to work legally in Europe.
1-2 years of experience in Business Development or Sales positions OR a master’s degree in a relevant field .
Experience with US Funding is desirable.
C1 level English and C1 level Spanish.
Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
Strong awareness and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and the global innovation landscape.
Team player and fast learner.
